Managing Custom Theme Settings

Some WordPress themes allow site managers to configure/manage common elements through a dashboard interface rather than individual widgets. Consult your web-development team to determine whether any of these custom settings apply.

The two most common places for these settings are:

  • Appearance > Customize
  • Appearance > Theme Options

NOTE:  while similar options and settings may appear in each of these screens, they may not be one-in-the-same, and may not actually impact anything on the site.
